Se as mulheres traçarem para a vida novos caminhos, o que impede os homens de também seguirmos por eles?

Se as mulheres ganharem asas, e se lançarem aos céus, e inventarem céus, pode acontecer de elas nos levarem junto! 

O protagonismo feminino não precisa antagonizar ninguém; é um protagonismo generoso: convida os homens para realizarmos a utopia!

If women chart new paths in life, what prevents men from following them too?

If women gain wings, and take to the skies, and invent skies, it may happen that they will take us with them!

Female protagonism does not need to antagonize anyone;  it is a generous protagonism: it invites people to realize utopia!

Felicidade não é algo que outros nos dêem: é coisa que conquistamos arduamente (contra eles, apesar deles)! 

Felicidade não é algo que Deus dá-nos, benevolentemente: é, antes, algo que, esforçadamente, oferecemos a Ele!

Happiness is not something that others give us: it is something we earn hard (against them, despite them)!

Happiness is not something that God gives us, benevolently: it is something that we effortlessly offer to Him!

Uma coisa irrelevante pode ser extraordinária se você percebe-la como tal. Uma coisa extraordinária pode ser irrelevante se como tal você a perceber!

Irrelevant things can be extraordinary if you perceive them as such. Extraordinary things can be irrelevant if you perceive them that way!

É preciso esperança para viver a vida.

E precisamos viver a vida para ter esperança! 

It takes hope to live life.

We have to live life to have hope!

Mulheres são sobreviventes neste mundo noctígeno, extensão das contradições dos homens.

Homens são sobreviventes neste mundo movediço, os corações das mulheres.

Mas não há como equiparar os dois desafios!

Women are survivors in this nocturnal world, an extension of men's contradictions.

Men are survivors in this unstable world, women's hearts.

But there is no way to equate the two challenges!

Agora, as mulheres adentram o sistema civilização-mundo, que é fálico, masculino, de lógica guerreira e acumulativa. Isto pode ser equilíbrio, justiça, mas não é revolução. 

Revolução será quando elas inventarem outro sistema civilização-mundo para substituir este! Conseguirão? Ajudaremos?

Now, women enter the civilization-world system, which is phallic, masculine, warrior-like and accumulative. This is balance, justice, but it is not revolution.

Revolution will be when they invent another civilization-world system to replace this one!  Will they make it?  Will we help?

Pensar o impensado requer sensibilidade e imaginação. Escreve-lo bela e coerentemente requer inteligência.

Thinking the unthought requires sensitivity and imagination. To say it beautifully and coherently requires intelligence.

Aquelas que pululam alma adentro são as terríveis!

Good ideas come slowly to our minds.

Those that swarm within the soul are the terrible ones!

Religião, paixões, sabedoria, utopias... Diversos paliativos encontraremos para o fardo da condição humana, jamais a cura!

Toda gente quer evoluir, mudar, lutar, ser mais pleno, justo e humano, certamente que quer. 

Até enfrentar a mais tênue oposição...

Everyone wants to evolve, change, fight, be fuller, fairer, more human, of course they do.

Until you face the slightest opposition...

A todo tipo de gente detestamos.

Mas, aos medíocres ninguém detesta (ninguém os nota!). 

Não faz diferença: medíocres detestam-se a si mesmos!

All kinds of people are hated.

But, the mediocre no one hates (nobody notices them!).

It makes no difference: mediocre people hate themselves.

Debates são inúteis: nossos opositores encantam-se com nossas dúvidas, nós nos encantamos com as certezas deles, e ficamos todos na mesma situação! 

Debates are useless: our opponents assume our doubts, while we assume their certainties, and we are all in the same situation!

Transforme seus erros em bons amigos: converse com eles, aprenda com eles! 

Mas não se apaixone por eles, jamais! 

Turn your mistakes into great friends: talk to them, learn from them! 

But don't fall in love with them, ever!

O momento, mais frágil tecido do existir, estranhamente, passa-nos a doce, mas falsa sensação de sermos eternos...

Ou, talvez, existam mesmo eternidades ressoando dentro de cada momento!

The moment, the most fragile fabric of existence, strangely, gives us the sweet but false sensation of being eternal...

Or, perhaps, there are even eternities reverberating within each moment!
